Hair Care Specialist Joe JoVan sought out his cosmetology career in 2008 where he attended Empire Beauty School in Exton PA and transition to apprenticeship at Michael Christopher Design of Wilmington DE to become an licensed professional.

Prior to pursuing his career in the beauty industry, Joe JoVan attended Delaware School of Hotel and Restaurant Management earning his Associates Degree in the Hospitality Industry.

Shortly after earning his licensed he relocated to Charlotte NC to focus on his new found love for hair. Joe JoVan attended Styles by Lisa, a natural hair care salon. As a stylist he was introduced to natural hair care, various textures and curl patterns and worked with various products line including, Gold Well color, Design Essentials and Quidad to name a few. After working with the company for 4 years he decided to expand he's horizons and begin his own brand Joe JoVan professional beauty artistry.
